The Lubenham Scarecrow Festival sees hundreds of lovingly hand-crafted scarecrows take to the streets of the village (assisted by the villagers) across the weekend of 12 and 13 September. Now on its 21st year of straw-based fun, the festival is free to enter, with free parking. It features (apart from scarecrows) a wonderful array of food and drink, craft stalls, amusements, live music and tractor rides around the village. It’s a perfect family (and dog)-friendly day out in the late summer sun.
