Quattro Parlando – string quartet

The first concert of this year is a special one, with the very talented string quartet Quattro Parlando.  The quartet are a Leicestershire based string quartet whose members hail from three different countries.

Quattro Parlando consists of Melissa Court (Violin),  Kate Burns (Violin), Mirka Katariina (Viola), and Andrew Bound (Cello).

All four players regularly play in various orchestras and ensembles including Sinfonia Viva, English Pro Musica and Northern Sinfonia. As well as being active musicians they are all involved in music education, holding posts in schools around the Midlands. The name Quattro Parlando translates as ‘four speak.’ We hope you hear what they are saying with their music!
