Brand new for Kilworth House Theatre Only!
We are determined to bring back the joy and excitement of live musical theatre to Kilworth this summer and have worked with our creative team to produce a show exclusively devised for the stage at Kilworth with a strictly limited run during August.
We have collaborated with Andrew Wright and George Dyer – the winning creative team behind our record-breaking productions of Joseph in 2018/19 – to create an exciting, new show that will go ahead regardless of whether social distancing regulations still apply and with the safety of the audience, cast and crew as the number one priority.
Kilworth’s Memories of the Musicals is a full-length show featuring the very best songs from every one of the nineteen musicals produced at Kilworth House Theatre since the theatre opened in 2007. Six stars of the West End stage will sing and dance their way through more than fifty songs from Kilworth’s fantastic back-catalogue supported by a live orchestra on stage.
There will be songs from all-time musical theatre classics such as My Fair Lady, West Side Story, Oklahoma, The Sound of Music, Me and My Girl, Singin’ In The Rain, Guys & Dolls, Top Hat and South Pacific as well as more recent work such as Little Shop of Horrors, Legally Blonde, Joseph and Cats.
We can promise you a tumultuous, joyful evening of song and dance and you can be there to celebrate with us the return of live theatre to Kilworth after such troubling times.
Kilworth’s Memories of the Musicals is devised and directed by Andrew Wright with musical direction and orchestration by George Dyer.
