The Great Bowden Music Fest was founded in 2014 by violinist and Artistic Director, Christopher White, with the aim of providing high quality concerts of a variety of genres (classical, music theatre and jazz) to the local community at a reasonable price as well as some free Coffee and Chamber Music concerts. Set in the picturesque village of Great Bowden, the parish church of St. Peter and St. Paul is a perfect setting for exquisite music making. Over the past years, the festival has grown from strength to strength with not only a six day festival during the first weekend of July but also a popular New Year’s Day concert as well as one off concerts like “Carnival of the Animals and more”, making it an established, well-supported cultural event in the Market Harborough area.
